Character Background
• History: Wiki
• Core Relationships:
Ritsuka Fujimaru (Player): Positive; Her Master, the one that summoned her, the one whose call she answered. This is the same person who had saved her in Salem, the same one that kept her from completely becoming Sut-Typhon. The one who welcomed her with open arms into Chaldea and helped her learn all about the modern world. It’s fair to say that Abigail as an infatuation with them. For them she’ll be a good girl, open up the doors to other, fantastic worlds, protect them and drag them into the Dream Realms.
Even if she must leave everyone else in the abyss.
Mash: Positive; Views Mash as a sort of big sister. Given her close ties with Ritsuka, and her part in Salem, Abigail rather enjoys being around the older girl. Even if she doesn’t feel the same level of infatuation towards her as she does with her Master, Abby does have a tiny crush on Mash.
Queen of Sheba: Positive; Tituba! Or, she was Tituba, her servant that had taught her and other girls magic rituals back in Salem. Upon learning of the woman’s identity Abigail’s interest in her only grew threefold. Given her Puritan background, and the Queen’s part with King Solomon, Abby can’t help it. She views her with admiration and curiosity and holds her up in high regard.
Katsushika Oui: Positive; Her fellow Foreigner class servant. Abigail very much enjoys spending time around Oui, watching her work, asking her questions about her work and Japan. Occasionally Abigail also acts as a little assistant for Oui as well. For her part, Oui seems to enjoy the girl’s presence as well, leading to an unexpected bond between the two. One that started off driven by similar connections with an Outer God, that was promptly expanded on by time spent together. Abby really hopes that she can see her again and watch her paint and listen to her talk.
Carter: Positive; The Gentleman, the man who helped seal away her powers in Salem and cut off her connection with the Outer God. He’s a mentor of sorts, and father figure, who had acted the part of her Uncle in Salem. This version of Abigail is not currently under his tutelage, she still feels her connection with him through the other version of herself. The one from Salem that had followed him into the stars and beyond. Beyond all time and space. Amazing, wonderful, fantastical, horrific places. Places that she’s sometimes shown in her dreams.
Salem Abigail: Positive; The other Abigail, this is the one that had official been through the Salem incident. The one that had followed Carter into parts unknown and had allowed an aspect of herself to be recorded on the Throne of Heroes so that she might still be able to be with Ritsuka in some way. There was a moment where she had possessed the servant Abigail’s body so that she might do just that and steal away Ritsuka. While the attempt ultimately fails, it does end up being a healing moment for them before Carter comes to collect the Salem Abby once more. Abigail doesn’t blame her other self for doing so, and instead feels it to have been a positive experience in the end.
Lavinia: Positive; Her one friend in Salem who went above and beyond to help Abigail. In the end, her death had completely shattered Abigail’s heart. Something she’s never quite been able to get over as the other girl died in her arms.
Character Personality Through Key Moments
(2+) Positive Experiences:
Abigail is fiercely loyal to her friends. Going out of her way to confess performing ritual sacrifice during Sanson’s trial in order to save him. Similarly, she is doggedly defensive of Ritsuka during the Summer Camp event, wanting to drag her away from the dream singularity and towards somewhere safe where they could be together, and nothing could harm her Master.
Abigail is incredibly curious and enjoys learning. This is very much reflected in her conversations about Oui, where she espouses her abject fascination with the woman. Mentioning spending time with her and learning about Japan from the artist. Something similar can be seen in her interactions with the Queen of Sheba, who is mentioned as eventually charging the girl for information, specifically about her relationship with King Solomon.
Energetic is one more. With Oui talking about how the girl is incredibly jittery and usually all over the place. Something that should be expected from a girl her age. This points towards an overall sunny disposition, and a healthy lifestyle within Chaldea.
Abigail is a good girl, something mentioned by her Master, and something she strives to be. Growing up in a Puritan society, she strives to uphold the ideals of being well behaved. As mentioned in her profile, she strives to be kind and courteous to everyone she meets. The role of a proper lady. This is made especially obvious in her Valentine’s cutscene. Wherein she wishes to give Geronimo some homemade chocolate, even though he absolutely terrifies her. She believes everyone should be extended a kind hand.
(2+) Negative Experiences:
Abigail is clingy and possessive. During her interlude the other Salem Abigail used the position of the stars in order to connect herself with Chaldea Abigail in an effort to not just spend time with Ritsuka, but also to kidnap them and bring them to the stars with her. While during the Summer Camp event, she had been far more fixated on keeping her Master safe, to the point of ignoring, and potentially harming, others around them.
She is loyal to a fault and worries over others to her own detriment. This is seen in her worry over Lavinia during the Salem arc, when the two separate and Abigail is caught in a fever. Bedridden, she could only constantly worry over her friend and ask Mash to find Lavinia for her as she herself was far too sick to move. Even so, she still eventually manages to leave in an attempt to intervene in Sanson’s trial, going so far as to confess to being a witch. None of which ended up saving Sanson in the end, and only led to Abigail being more open to possession by Sut-Typhon.
Abigail is a bad girl- Abigail is a witch and avatar of an Outer God. Her final ascension shows this corruption and makes her inner nature and abilities fully known. This is reflected in her transformation and attacks. Her actions become more sadistic, menacing, and often lack hesitation. She laughs with glee while attacking opponents, and delights in using her abilities to twist and drive others mad. To open doorways and allow tendrils of twisted flesh and tentacles to crush them. To overwhelm them and drag them into an unfathomable abyss that twists and distorts both their body and their mind. While her own appearance becomes twisted as well. She is seen with pale, purplish skin, red eyes, and a black keyhole in the center of her forehead, where the eye of Sut-Typhon stares out. Her conservative dress is gone, and while she still retains much of what makes Abby, Abby- it is twisted and perverted.
Deer Country Attributes
• Canon Powers:
TL;DR: Superhuman strength according to her servant parameters. She can lift and carry things much heavier than herself with relative ease.
Superhuman durability that allows her to take more damage than the normal person and be able to still function. Albeit, in a limited capacity depending on the injury sustained.
Aura of madness that can inflict insanity, paranoia, fear, and potential collapse of a person’s ability to perceive reality.
An ability to open up doorways through space and time in order to travel to other stars and planes of existence or summon tentacles and horrors that defy human comprehension.
Able to traverse the Dreamlands.
Skills:
Prayer of Creed C: Game Description - “The Puritan belief that honors poverty and daily prayer.”
Faith based skill: Abby’s beliefs and prayers are able to strengthen both herself, and her allies. Providing them with a burst of energy and strength.
Mass Hysteria B: Game Description - “The Insanity exuded by the evil god dwelling within the girl can very easily break down the fragile common sense and moral sense of humans.”
Abigail has an aura of insanity that surrounds thanks to her being an extension of an eldritch deity. This aura can be extended towards others; breaking down their mental defenses and causing feelings of fear, anxiety, paranoia, and hallucinations for her victim. Potentially paralyzing them in horror and causing momentary insanity.
Witch Trial A+: Game Description – “A person in question is made to draw out, from others, impulses of suspicion and jealousy towards themselves without intending to do so even once, giving rise to a chain of misfortune; a threat born because of their sincerity.”
Similar to the above skill, only “Witch Trial” focuses more on creating seeds of doubt and mistrust in a group of individuals towards a single person. Creating feelings of paranoia against them. Potentially inciting violence, or devaluing the targeted individual’s credibility in the eyes of the afflicted persons.
Passives:
Existence Outside the Domain EX: Game Description – “Possessed by an evil god, Abigail houses a portent of the god’s Authority within herself and wields it.”
This is Abigail’s connection with her Outer God, Sut-Typhon. Allowing her to feel and sense them. As well as give her an anchor to reality. It is also what allows her the ability to open doorways in the fabric of time and space, letting her unleash untold horrors to do her bidding, travel through time and space, manipulate reality, and freely travel through the Dreamlands. As well as allow both Salem Abby and Chaldea Abby to connect with one another through their dreams, should the stars align just right.
Insanity B: Game Description - “Anxiety and fear. Deviations from harmony and providence. Heterogeneous thinking that exerts an influence even on the worldviews within the mentality of the people in one’s surroundings.”
It’s similar to how a Berserker’s “Madness Enhancement” ability works. Increasing the user’s strength exponentially; with the chief drawback being the user’s ability to reason. For Abigail this comes more in the form as a sort of aura that blankets her. Thanks in large part to her connection with Sut-Typhon. Eroding her sense of morals and overall grasp on reality. Allowing her access to much greater strength than her body would otherwise possess. She isn’t just insane, she is a dispenser of insanity, she is insanity personified.
Divinity B: Game description – “Having become the “Gate” for a higher-order existence lurking in outer space, Abigail is tinged with a strong divinity. An immeasurable threat that can even rewrite the image of the world. But as compensation, that Insanity cannot be removed.”
This acts as a buffer to her overall strength and ability to deal damage. Due to her connection with a divine being of sorts, Abigail can be considered a type of demi-god. Granting her an increase to her strength and physical fortitude beyond that of a normal human. However- this comes at the cost of her sanity and twists and corrupts her into what she is now.
Noble Phantasm (Her Ultimate): Qliphoth Rhizome
Game Description - "Opening a "gate" to a foreign world that is incompatible with humanity, creating distortions within the target's mind and body, a rhizome is born alongside the QliphothWP, the tree of evil. The target "key", Abigail, has her individual consciousness restrained. This is why it is an Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm. Normally, it should be considered an Anti-World Noble Phantasm, possessing a property of endlessness"
• Blood Type: Darkblood
• Omen: Black House Cat
• Blessed Day: December
• Patron Pthumerian: Dorothea
• Blood Power Manifestation: Abigail is going to be using her blood type as a sort of extension of her canon ability to unlock “doorways” into another world. One where Sut-Typhon dwells. Though, unlike her normal ability, this will rely on her more twisting the fabric of reality in order to open those doorways. Requiring more concentration, with larger portals needing actual, blood sacrifice. Effectively, this will act more like a summons, calling on aspects of Sut-Typhon, as opposed to really tearing a whole in space and time. She may also use it as a way to alter her appearance between that of her “witch mode” and her usual, innocent girl look. Twisting her own form as the situation calls for. Or, perhaps, even toying with its potentially addictive properties, driving others into blood-fueled madness.
Abby is a good girl—Abby is also a bad girl.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: That's fine! Headpats and hugs are loved!
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I'm fine with it, however, it's something that should be hashed out first.
ROMANCE/FLIRTING: Iffy, given her age it's something that will have to be done with characters close to her age range.
SEXUAL CONTENT: She's 12, nudity and tentacles might be a thing for her, but that's as far as it goes. I know what her overall design is. But really... I'm going with no.
PSYCHIC ABILITIES: Go for it! She's a Lovecraftian abomination though~! Hint hint, it may not end well for those attempting it on her.
MAGIC/POWERS: Both are fine, given that Abigail herself is a witch/servant/copy of another version of herself/a vessel and part of an eldritch god. Capable of opening up doorways into other realities and causing madness wherever she goes.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: None, she has a keyhole in her forehead that leads to a dark abyss. It's only present in witch Abby mode, though.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS: Abigail is from Puritan New England (Salem). As such religious themes are a thing with her, as are the occasional mention of slavery, indentured servitude, and mentions of older, cultural beliefs for her time. Many of which are going to be considered offensive by current standards. However, and this is a big however, none of those themes will be sprung on people out of nowhere, and the proper content warnings will be applied in threads where they do. Abigail herself is also a witch and vessel/part of, an eldritch god; because of this Lovecraftian themes of horror are very much part of her character.
This can include body horror, violence, insanity, and so on. Oh! And underage drinking, she tends to try and get into Chaldea's alcohol supplies.

BACKTAGGING: Go for it! I'm usually slower on older tags, as a heads up.
FOURTH WALLING: To an extent. The idea of alternate realities is nothing new to her. She'll be confused though!
THREADHOPPING: Sure, so long as the thread in question is open for it, and everyone is fine with it.
CONTENT I ABSOLUTELY NEED WARNINGS FOR, BUT CAN STILL PLAY: Most things that involve violence, shipping, or physical signs of affection.
CONTENT I ABSOLUTELY NEED WARNINGS FOR AND THAT I CAN'T PLAY: MAKING ABBY CRY!!! you monster. Really though, for her, I can't think of anything else that hasn't been said already. Usually for most of anything that would require a content warning I might ask to be given a head up first before it's sprung on me.
ANYTHING ELSE: In game nerfs from the mods - "While we're sure you're aware, we just want to be sure to make an official note that with door opening powers/anything regarding pockets in space time, etc. that characters are nerfed enough to not allow for an escaping of the universe/setting, since that would obviously break the game mechanics."
